The Center of Rural Development in Central Vietnam (CRD) in cooperation with VPA-FLEGT support group in Quang Tri organized a training practice on “Introduction to VPA-FLEGT Agreement and technical assistance for forest planting households” on May 16th in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province. This training practice was followed by theories that trainees learnt in Hue city on 8th, 9th May 2020.
In the training, each trainee was assigned to prepare content and have 15-20 minutes to practice training on the content. After each presentation, PhD Hoang Huy Tuan, the lecturer of the training course gave comments and suggestions to help trainees perfect their skills. Apart from that, trainees can also contribute their ideas with each other.
The course has helped trainees practice training skills and consolidate knowledge so that they can be confident about giving technical assistance and delivering training on theories in the course. Trainees shall give five (05) direct training courses on Introduction to VPA-FLEGT Agreement and legality requirements to forest planting households for local people in Quang Tri. This activity is in the framework of the project “Supporting small sized enterprises for legality requirements to enter domestic and international legal supply chains” supported by the FAO-EU FLEGT Programme./.
