A sustainable rural society, where no poverty exists and people act responsibly toward the environment

The training on “Advocacy on Child Rights” for officials of civil society organizations and children’s specialized departments, and members of the Child Rights Management Network in Central Vietnam organized by the CRD had just taken place on 17-18 September at Lang Co town (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province).

The two-day training course contributed to improve their knowledge on policy advocacy and advocacy on child rights and necessary skills for the effective advocacy.

Lecturer, Nguyen Toan Thinh imparted his knowledge and experience on: The process of implementing advocacy activities; Important tools to implement steps of the advocacy cycle in developing and implementing child rights projects/programs; Role of stakeholders in the policy advocacy; Approach and important skills in advocating child rights; Gaps in the regulation and implementation of the existing social child-related policies; Practice in the advocacy planning on child rights.
